Man, the capital of the region, is a Main Economic Connector (a large city at an advanced stage of urbanization facilitating urban economies through a diversified economic base that promotes innovation) due to its terrain and natural resources, making it a must-visit tourist spot (Study on the Competitive Economic Pole Development Program - PEC, 2018). It is rich in timber and has a mineral-rich subsoil. The geographical position of the city of Man (located 570 kilometers from Abidjan, 327 kilometers from Yamoussoukro, 380 kilometers from Monrovia/Liberia, and 715 kilometers from Guinea-Conakry) is a strategic asset considering the potential for exchanges with neighboring countries.

  • An industrial zone exists: located in the department of Man, housing industrial units with an industrial land reserve of 72 hectares (MCIPPME, 2022);
  • Mobile network coverage (ARTCI, July 2023): 89.07% of localities and 90.66% of the population are covered.
  • Health: The health infrastructure in the region includes essential technical platforms.
